NFL Shifts Playoffs Campaign Online

This year the NFL has decided to market the season playoffs online. This is a new step for the NFL who usually campaigns on network TV. The league hopes this new avenue of marketing will appeal to fans whose teams don't make the playoffs.

To catch the fans' attention, the NFL has created a new Web site to assist fans in picking a new team to root for in the playoffs, AdWeek reports. The "Adopt-A-Team" Web site asks visitors several questions to determine which team preference. In addition, the result comes with an explanation of why the team was chosen.
