Rising ad budgets for Automotive Industry

The automotive industry is the largest advertiser in the world with 70 percent of customers using it at some point for automotive purchases, according to eMarketer.

What is less of a surprise is the statistic from eMarketer stating that automotive online ad spending is going to jump to $2.7 billion in 2007. According to an iMediaconnection article, this industry is looked at as a thought-leader in interactive technology, strategy and creativity.

What this all boils down to is that other industries need to note the increased budgets for online ad spending and the decreased reliance on traditional media for reaching a captive audience. The audience is now online and so too should corporate America.

Marketers need to be aware of which industries are spending money and think creatively and strategically to use these industries to their advantage.
